Antimicrobial powder coat for refurbishment and procurement projects

Incorporating antimicrobial powder coat as a finish provides protection against infection that can arise from both high-contact surfaces and from less accessible areas that may reached during Deep Cleans.
Antimicrobial Detection System
The antimicrobial formula is long-lasting and to give added assurance that the antimicrobial agent is present and active we use a hand-held detector to give us a clear reading of the antimicrobial efficacy.
We use the hand-held detector as part of our quality control system on site and in our fabrication process.
The technology for this unique process has been tested by Leicester University’s Space Research Centre.
The ability to test the antimicrobial agent, once applied, is unique to the JDL Dexo antimicrobial product. See the test results from the Space Research Centre here:

Powder coated architectural ironmongery
We have developed a range of architectural ironmongery and accessories with 3V Architectural Hardware, part of the Vieler Group. The products are suitable for the most robust environments.
As standard, the products are in a hard-wearing powder coat that is resistant to corrosion, ultra-violet light, moisture, chemicals and conditions caused by extreme weather. Powder coating creates a product that is warmer to the touch than a bare metal. The products are fire resistant to standards BS476 Part 6 Fire Propagation, BS476 Part 7 Surface Spread of flames, BS6853 Smoke emission and BS6853 Toxic Fume Emission.
