Structural steelwork services

Pre-contract involvement and advice.

The value of what we do is enhanced by the fact that we aim to be involved in a project at an early a stage as possible. This means that potential issues can be resolved even as early as the pre-design stage.

Measured Surveys

John Desmond Ltd offers a full on-site survey including measuring which forms the basis for assessing the steelwork requirements and the provision of initial advice on your project.

Point Cloud Surveys

As a modern-day alternative to manual measuring we provide 3D laser scanning, known as a Point Cloud Survey. This method of creating internal and external images which comprise all the critical measurements and data needed to create accurate designs and suitable steelwork structures.

Autodesk Advance Steel Modelling and BIM

All steel sections are 3D-modelled in advance so that they are then cut precisely and without waste. When the sections arrive on site they can then be readily and accurately installed.

Installation

John Desmond Ltd structural steel workers are UKAS-accredited welders.
